President Obama calls himself a Christian, but also speaks with reverence about the Holy Koran and gives great accolades to this religion; bowing down to their dignitaries. It seems that our current President’s father was a Muslim and his son was possibly initiated into the religion as a small child; and as Islam doesn’t believe in converting to another religion it must mean if Obama was a Muslim, in their eyes then he still is. An increasing number of people also believe that Obama really is a Muslim. His wife apparently was involved with Louis Farrahkan in the Million man march.
If a Muslim converts to Christianity or marries outside of their faith, it is a very serious offense to Islam and could be a death sentence to the convert. So why does our president say the Islam is a noble religion of peace? Why does President Obama proclaim all their marvelous contributions to civilization and ignore the small county of Israel who has done abundantly more for ancient and modern civilization than probably all the countries of the world? ("By converting out of Islam, Obama either became an apostate, a murtadd, in Arabic, or he began engaging in an Islamic-sanctioned deception and thus remained Muslim," says Morse. "If Obama truly left Islam, and actively embraced Christianity, he could be subject to severe penalties under Islamic law including the death sentence. Islamic Shariah law calls for the execution of any Muslim who becomes amurtadd.") Excerpt from Geert Wilders’ article; “Militants 'slaughter' lawmakers at Somali hotel.”
If our President is a true Christian he would also believe that Islam is a false religion. Christians don’t believe the Koran is a Holy book. They believe Muhammad was a false prophet, and Allah is not the God of the Bible. It’s simple! Christians believe the Bible is the truly inspired Word of God, thus calling it, “The Holy Bible.” That Jesus Christ is the only savior, not Muhammad, Buddha, Krishna, or any other religious teacher. Jesus made it very clear. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to God the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
“I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John.8:12)
Note; Jesus didn’t say I am a way, or I am a truth, Or I am a light, (as in one of many.) like politically correct religious people would say, “There are many paths to God! Chose the one that suites you!”
Even though conservative TV and Radio personality, Sean Hannity confesses to be a Christian, he recently said that, “we are all God’s Children.” That is not what Christianity teaches. The Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man is not a Biblical or Christian teaching. Christianity does teach that we are all God’s creatures, but to become His children we must receive the Spirit of adoption then we can call God our heavenly Father and Jesus Christ becomes our elder brother. (Rom. 8:15-17) This happens when we recognize and accept Jesus Christ as our savior and understanding that His death on the cross for our sins and His resurrection offers us forgiveness and His spiritual life.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ they are a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2.Cor.5:17)
Most of the conservative TV and Radio commentators are sort of, or kind of Christian, but a miss is as good as a mile. Even though Glenn Beck is a Mormon, he appears to have a greater understand of what real Christianity is far better than all the wooly thinking politicians, political activists, including so called clergymen, and most conservative and liberal commentators. Most of them seem to have little knowledge of church history, the New Testament and especially the epistles or letters to the churches, which is probably the same as most of the nominal Christians or churchgoers. Jesus Christ was very dogmatic; which is not politically correct today and if Christ did return in our time, probably many churches and the majority of people who call themselves Christians would reject Him.
The main difference between true Christianity and all the other major religions is that the Christian Gospel means ‘Good News.’ The essence of the ‘Gospel’ is that Christ has paid the price for our sins once and for all and salvation is a free gift. Where in all the other religions you have to earnor qualify to be accepted by God. Your hope of redemption is governed by your complete obedience and submission to its leaders and the teachers of those religions and their laws. So it becomes a religion of works, law and rules, rather than grace; (Rom.11:6. Eph.2.8-9) unfortunately, many religious churches under the banner of ‘Christian’, also teach the same thing. That certainly doesn’t sound like ‘Good News’ to me.
The spread of Islam and past history of countries becoming Muslim has not happened by a free choice, but by military conquest. Why isn’t Islam content in having four billion followers saturating so many countries of the world? Why are they still unhappy that they haven’t conquered that tiny Jewish country of Israel and forcibly converted the Jews, or better still eliminated them off of the face of the earth? Why do they oppose Christianity so vehemently, and put Jesus under Muhammad, is it because Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi? In contrast to Islam, the message of the Christian Gospel, the offer of salvation, has always been a free choice; the choice of accepting or rejecting. True Christianity doesn’t torture or threaten people to accept the Gospel otherwise it would be a contradiction in terms.
It’s interesting that Christians aren’t allowed to build churches in Islamic countries. Twenty years ago, I was preaching at a church situated inKuala Lumpur Malaysia. This country is considered to be one of the few Islamic countries which are tolerant to Christians and other religions. I unfortunately alarmed the congregation when I was preaching on the resurrection of Christ and said that, “Buddha was dead; Mohammad was dead; But Jesus is alive! We Christian don’t worship a dead prophet, but a living Savior.” I was told that saying that could close their church down and the leadership warned me not to say anything about Mohammad. Obviously it was and still is against the law to proselytize Muslims.
As I drove around the city I observed many magnificent Mosques on major intersections in prominent places. In the other hand, the Christians there met in old rented buildings and abandoned movie theatres; usually located down back street alleys hidden away from the population. These were the Christian churches in contrast to the magnificent Mosques. Christians were not allowed to build a church facility and certainly not where it could be seen or advertised.
Some years ago, I was preaching in Cairo, Egypt to the Coptic Christians. In one service I met and prayed with hundreds of Sudanese Christians; mainly youth and children that had escaped from the Sudan after being kidnapped, raped and tortured by radical Muslims. Many were scarred both physically and emotionally. Even though they were now relatively safe, they were barely tolerated by the Egyptian government and the Muslim community. Why do large numbers of African Americans become Muslims when many of their forefathers were made slaves under Islamic rule?
We have in our country a mixture of Muslims. The majorities are good people and are more nominal. They want the choice of keeping the tenets of their religion which are less demanding and radical and enjoy the freedoms that America offers and are glad to get out of their original countries, but there are also others who have a much more radical agenda. It’s the same in Europe where I used to live. Under the banner of tolerance and political correctness we put ourselves in danger.
To conquer a country and bring them under their philosophy is often done in different stages.
(1) Is to use military force which is what most countries that are now under Islamic rule; forcibly submitted to centuries ago.
(2) Is to take advantage of our freedom laws and policies on such things as birth control and abortion. The Muslims have produced and are producing many children so that eventually there will be more of them than us. They are also claiming special religious rights and treatments that our government gives to minorities.
(3) To use our democratic freedoms by getting involved in teaching, education, financial institutions, the media, and the political scene, which many Muslims are now pursuing.
(4) To cause havoc and mayhem on innocent people, by terrorist activities. The radicals are impatient and want to conquer quickly and moderates are happy to wait it out even if it takes many decades. For their religion wants everyone to become Muslims and live under their religious law. Find out how many countries are now controlled by Muslims, you will be surprised.
This is not to attack the Muslims, as everyone has some kind of agenda. Our two political parties have agendas. We all believe in freedom, but it should work both ways in all countries. Why should we welcome this religion here with open arms when we see what it has done in other countries?
I’m not sure if our democratic policies will be able to control such a force if it continues to grow and take foothold. In fact if we continue to bow down to this religion we will end up becoming its servants. Ask any real Muslim (not the nominal) if they would like to see this country become Muslim the answer has to be ‘yes’ to be faithful to their religion and cause. Sleeping Christians, need to look and count what freedoms they have already lost. Liberals foolishly love the minorities for votes, but haven’t a clue what happens when these extreme minorities eventually become the majorities.
I like what the former prime minister of England, Margaret Thatcher said when she was approached by the Muslim Community. They informed her that every Sunday morning church bells ring across the country calling people to Sunday service and they would like the same opportunity and have their Islamic call to prayer over loud speakers in the cities of England. She said, “When I hear the church bells ringing over the Muslim countries like Iran and Arabia you can have your call to prayer.”
