Everyone thinks that there is such a thing as a "Death Bed" repentance... Is there really?
God speaks to us
over and over again about forgiveness, but we choose to ignore His Word over and over again. As you read the testimony of a
pastor that would not accept his wife's appeal for forgiveness, search your hearts and see if there is any unforgiveness in your heart.
As you read this article, also take note that his death bed repentance didn't mean a thing to our Father. Saints, we must
take God's Word seriously. The Body of Christ is walking on sinking sand and doesn't even know it. Our walk with God must begin
with Love as a sure foundation and when Love is the sure foundation, forgiveness comes automatically, even before someone asks for
it. Our Father, who knows our heart, forgives us before we even ask. What did our Lord Jesus Christ say as He hung on the cross?
Luke 23:34 (Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.) We walk around saying we are lights in a dark, dark world
and that we are just like Jesus, but unforgiveness has an upper place in our hearts. Deuteronomy 6:6-8 tells us: (And these
words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7. And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children,
and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou
risest up.And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.) Deuteronomy 11:18 tells
us: (Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may
be as frontlets between your eyes.) The word (Frontlets) means that they should keep them distinctly in view and carefully attend
to them. I would like for you to read Matthew 7:20-23 and keep these words distinctly in view and carefully attend to
them.
Matthew 7: 20 - 23
20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall
enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that
day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
